Care of your silks
Silk is hard wearing and easy care. It will not shrink or stretch and will give you pleasure for many years. Hand painted silk is very durable. However, strong sunlight may fade the rich dyes, so please take care when hanging at a window.
Wash and Dry separately.
Hand wash only in cool water. Swish it about with a little mild detergent or shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Add a few drops of fabric or hair conditioner to the final rinse if you like. Hang to dry. Iron on the reverse whilst slightly damp - please take extra care to make sure you are on the reverse if the item has been outlined in gutta.
